Join us for a 90-minute tour of the Spring Hill Battlefield. This tour focuses on many elements of the Battle of Spring Hill and the events that unfolded after dark on November 29, 1864. This tour includes a discussion of the Tennessee Campaign and its significance in the Civil War, the fighting that occurred between elements of Gen. John Bell Hood’s Confederate forces and U.S. forces commanded by Gen. John Schofield, and the events that transpired after dark that culminated in the majority of the U.S. Army slipping past the Confederates after dark. Tickets must be purchased 8 hours in advance.
